There are many other important aspects of our church you will discover through this series. These videos are designed for you to work through our membership information at your own pace. You don’t have to complete all three videos at one time. Simply come back to this page and pick up where you left off. We hope this series will be a useful tool for anyone interested in learning more about First Baptist.

Session 1: Our Mission

In this session, you will discover the importance of church membership and what’s required to become a member. You will also discover how to become a member of FBCS and the overall mission of the church.
Session 2: Our Strategy
(9 min) Discipleship Strategy & Involvement
In this session, you will discover the overall strategy for accomplishing our mission as a church. You will also discover how each area of our strategy is important for your personal spiritual growth. We desire to make disciples who make disciples.
Session 3: Our Values
(7 min) Church Life, Values, & Covenant
In this session, you will discover various aspects of church life at FBCS. This will include how we are governed, what we value, and the covenant all members make with one another.
Ready to Join
Once you have completed all sessions of Discover First, one of our pastors will reach out to schedule a membership meeting. This meeting will be an opportunity to share your faith story, ask any questions about the church, and officially join FBCS. We look forward to serving Jesus together!
