About Us

Who is First Baptist Church Saltillo?

We’re a family, a group of imperfect people from all walks of life that recognize our need for God’s grace. The church is not a building to sit in or an event to attend, it’s a movement to join. Our mission is to glorify God by making disciples in Saltillo and throughout the world.

What are your service times?

We have two identical worship gatherings at 8:00 am and 10:30 am. Sunday School groups meet at 9:15 am. Childcare is available for ages birth - 3 years old. Kids Worship (for age 4 - 3rd Grade) takes place during the morning worship gathering.

On Wednesdays, we gather for a meal at 5:15 pm (which you can sign up and pay for on Sundays), and split off to our various Mid-week programming at 6:00 pm (i.e., adult Bible tudy, youth worship, children’s bible study and activities, and adult choir).

Is child care available at both Sunday services?

Yes! Nursery (for ages birth - 3 y.o.) and Kid’s Worship (4 y.o. - 3rd Grade) is available during both new worship times. Kid’s check-in will be happing between each service.

What should I expect?

You’re invited to come as you are in what you feel most comfortable wearing, whether it’s a suit or jeans. Each worship gathering lasts about 1 hour, and includes times of singing and listening to relevant preaching from the Bible. We have greeters stationed at the doors and throughout the lobby if you have any questions or need assistance (just look for the orange lanyards). We’re here to help.

Parking?

Parking is available at the rear (South) of the building. We also have senior adult and visitor parking on the East side of the building, nearest to the entrance to our Sanctuary.

Handicap Access?

Both the South and East entrances are handicap accessible, and we have an elevator available for use.

Where do I start?

We believe that a biblical church is called to be a family, and we want you to feel at home with us. After the service concludes, please be sure to stop by the Welcome Center in the lobby, where we would love to answer any questions for you.
