Evan, Hannah, and John Asa

Evan and Hannah both brew up in central Mississippi – Evan in Winona and Hannah in Grenada. With a God-given passion for music and worship leadership, Evan and Hannah have each been a part of worship teams and leading congregations since high school. They began working together in ministry upon meeting just prior to attending Mississippi College. God has used them in many different settings over the years and Evan has most recently been serving as the worship pastor at North Winona Baptist Church.

Evan and Hannah graduated from Mississippi College with a B.A. in Christian Studies in 2016, were married the same year, and then in October 2017 were blessed beyond words by the birth of their son, John Asa. Hannah is graduating from Delta State University with a M.A. in Teaching this summer, and Evan is also continuing his education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary as a candidate for a M.A. in Theology.

Evan enjoys all types of outdoor activities like running, biking, hiking, and just being outside in general, spending time with family and friends. He also likes to pass time reading, which Hannah will tell you is mostly (if not entirely) due to her influence on him. Hannah also enjoys reading as well as knitting, gardening, and travelling. John Asa enjoys balls, trucks (which he calls ‘gucks’), and snacks.

The Wilsons can’t wait to get to know everyone in the FBC Saltillo family and are praying for God’s will to be clear as we all seek to live out our calling.
